To define the potential role of PART1 in breast cancer, we first analyzed PART1 expression in breast cancer patient tumors of different subtypes (TCGA PanCancer, Cell 2015 and METABRIC datasets), based on intrinsic molecular subtype (basal-like, claudin low, HER2, luminal A and B), and the lack of hormone receptor expression (i.e., TNBC) [46,47].
