Another study indicated that seipin knockout (Seipin-KO) male mice displayed anxiety- and depression-like behaviour associated with decreased levels of PPARγ mRNA and protein in the hippocampus and cortex [27], and the administration of the PPARγ agonist rosiglitazone attenuated the anxiety-like behaviour in male Seipin-KO mice.
