Among the anti-obesity effects of Juniperus communis [104], Ramulus mori [111], Vibrunum opulus [106], Paullinia cupana [96], Peucedanum japonicum [23], Aster yomena [97], Prunus salicina [98], Eclipta alba [99], and Polygonum cuspidatum [92] evaluated on 3T3-L1 cells, Eclipta alba showed the highest activity as it decreased the expression of PPARα (1.9 fold), C/EBPα (1.8 fold), FAS (1.4 fold) and FABP4 (1.8 fold) and also decreased the concentration of lipids in terms of cholesterol and triglycerides in these adipocytes. Here, CEBPA is linked to Obesity.
