These unique characteristics have allowed to employ CDs for bioassays [16], photothermal therapy [17,18], nanomedicine [19,20,21], with a good potential also in clinic therapy [22], especially for detection of various type of diseases such as neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s (AD), Parkinson’s (PD), Huntington’s) and systemic lysozyme amyloidosis [23] or cancer [24,25,26,27].
