FOLR2 and acute myeloid leukemia: Based on the effectiveness of these FRβ CAR T cells in the preclinical setting and the improved ease of production and administration of direct antibody therapies compared to CAR T cells, we hypothesized that the parental anti-FRβ antibody (m909) could be a potential treatment for AML by recognizing FRβ on AML blast cells and mediating the toxicity of these cells.
