miR-100 and miR-99a have been reported to be aberrantly expressed in ALL, and lower expression levels of both miR-100 and miR-99a were found in T-ALL patients and patients carrying the MLL-rearrangement or BCR-ABL1 fusion genes, and these lower expression levels correlated with a poor prognosis. Here, ABL1 is linked to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
