SEL1L and pancreatic intraductal papillary-mucinous neoplasm: By combining in-silico analysis of miRNome and transcriptome data from healthy pancreatic tissues and IPMN or PDAC tumors via MiRComb software [13], plus qRT-PCR analysis in an independent set of samples, we have found that two commonly deregulated miRNAs (miR-181a and miR-372) in IPMN and PDAC are, in both contexts, negatively correlated with mRNAs encoding actin related proteins (EPB41L4B, ITGA2, and HN1) and metabolism related effectors (NUC2B, SEL1L, ENPP1, and PDK4).
