Concomitant use of drugs that inhibit MRP2 transport could result in higher plasma concentrations whereas an overexpression of MRP2, e.g., in specific tumours or due to a concomitant use of pregnane X receptor ligand (e.g., Phenobarbital) might lead to the opposite [64,66,67,68] effect.
