The levels of serum BMAG from CCA patients were significantly higher than those of the non-CCA groups and could differentiate CCA patients from the control groups with a comparable diagnostic power with the previous reported glycobiomarkers, such as CA19-9, SJA-binding glycan, and Wisteria floribunda agglutinin-positive mucin-1 [15]. This evidence concerns the gene MUC1 and cholangiocarcinoma.
