Previous reports have shown APLP2 is involved in cell invasion, cell–cell adhesion, proliferation, signaling, and wound healing [41,42,43], and that disorders of APLP2 are involved in metastasis, cell growth, and invasion in multiple cancers, including breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and colon cancer [26,44]. The gene discussed is APLP2; the disease is lung cancer.
