High densities of both CD11b+ and CXCR2+ cells were statistically positively correlated with all the studied immune markers, i.e., TIL infiltration (p < 0.001, for both populations); high CD3+ infiltration (p < 0.001, for both populations); high CD8+ infiltration (p = 0.006 for CD11b, and p < 0.001 for CXCR2); high PD-L1 expression, both on tumor cells (p < 0.001, for both populations) and stromal cells (p = 0.001 for CD11b, and p = 0.002 for CXCR2) and high PD-1 expression (p = 0.006 for CD11b, and p < 0.001 for CXCR2). The gene discussed is ITGAM; the disease is neoplasm.
