Overall, based on the experimental data presented above, both YPB and OPB peptides could disrupt YY1-EZH2 interaction, decrease EZH2 recruitment by YY1 to the promoters of target genes, such as PTENP1 (Figure 8), and reduce breast cancer cell proliferation and xenograft tumor formation.
