At the preoperative time point, the predictors of sepsis were monocyte L-selectin, with an AUC of 0.761 (95%CI 0.632–0.891) p = 0.0003, neutrophil L-selectin with an AUC of 0.692 (95%CI 0.574–0.810) p = 0.007, and CRP with an AUC of 0.772 (95%CI 0.650–0.893) p = 0.0001.
