To date, Lrp4 is known to be involved in a myriad of processes, such as limb anomalies [12,13,14], craniofacial organogenesis [15], kidney malformations [16], adult hippocampal neurogenesis [20], ALS [21], and Aβ clearance in Alzheimer’s disease [22]. The gene discussed is LRP4; the disease is early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
