CD8A and COVID-19: While no significant difference in the abundance of SARS-CoV-2-reactive CD4+ and CD8+ T cells were noted in the convalescent COVID-19 patients included in this study when stratified by symptom duration, we wished to confirm that the functional transcriptional profile of SARS-CoV-2-reactive CD4+ T cells was not negatively impaired in individuals experiencing prolonged COVID-19 symptoms.
