Overall, we found five up-regulated genes, namely solute carrier family 4 member 11 (SLC4A11), guanylate binding protein 5 (GBP5), long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 707 (LINC00707), mitochondrial ribosomal protein L55 (MRPL55) and ribosome biogenesis regulator 1 homolog (RRS1), and two down-regulated genes in ovarian cancer, insulin receptor substrate 2 (IRS2) and keratin 4 (KRT4) that show a statistically significant predictive power for the patient outcome (Figure 4). Here, IRS2 is linked to ovarian cancer.
