IL17A and multiple sclerosis: The second-ranked statistically significant upregulated miRNA in the TME, miR-1896 (Figure 5B), is known, together with miR-409-3p, to co-operatively participate in IL-17-induced inflammatory cytokine production in astrocytes and the pathogenesis of a multiple sclerosis mouse model via targeting SOCS3/STAT3 signaling [30].
