The upregulation of miR-155 contributed to B cell-hyperactivity and autoantibody production in lupus by targeting Src homology 2 (SH2) domain containing inositol polyphosphate 5-phosphatase 1 (SHIP1) and sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 (S1PR1) [78,79]. This evidence concerns the gene S1PR1 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
