ITPR2 and autism: Notably, deficits in social interaction were ameliorated by the acute application of the GABAAR agonist clonazepam (0.0625 mg/kg, i.p.)both in IP3R2 KO mice (Fig. 4k, l, Supplementary Fig. 3k) and cKO mice (Fig. 4m, n, Supplementary Fig. 3l), suggesting that GABAergic dysfunction may underlie autism-like phenotypes in IP3R2 mutant mice.
