Zhou et al. announced that miR-936 targeted E2F2 to repress cell proliferation and invasion in non-small cell lung cancer [30] and Li et al. declared that miR-936 acted as a suppressor of epithelial ovarian cancer aggressiveness through blocking the FGF2-mediated PI3K/AKT signaling pathway [31].
