IgE is an immunoglobulin that regulates response to various allergens, and is mainly synthesized by B cells in the lymphatic tissues of the respiratory and digestive mucosa lamina propria and mediates type I hypersensitivity reactions that cause diseases such as allergic rhinitis, allergic reactions, and asthma (Salo et al., 2011).
