Interestingly, the mRNA levels of FGFR1 and FGFR3 in EPN tissues across all EPN subtypes were at least as high as the levels in the well-described FGFR-driven cancer cell models NCI-H1703 (FGFR1, NSCLC) [12] and Hep3B (FGFR3, HCC) [49, 57] (Fig. 1a left and right panel, respectively).
