To confirm the effect of the miR-1299/NEK2 pathway on the proliferation and migration of prostate cancer cells, MTT assays, flow cytometry and Transwell assays were conducted; overexpression of miR-1299 was found to significantly inhibit the expression of NEK2, reduce the relative viability of PCa cells and reduce their proliferation and migration rates. Here, NEK2 is linked to prostate carcinoma.
