Secondly, our study illustrated that the intronic miR-1250-5p was co-regulated by promoter DNA methylation of its host gene AATK in NHL, similar to other intronic miRNAs, such as miR-342-3p [32] and miR-28-5p [33], which were shown to be co-regulated by promoter DNA methylation of their host genes, EVL and LPP, respectively, in multiple myeloma. This evidence concerns the gene AATK and plasma cell myeloma.
