On the bi-variable Cox regression, covariates such as types of health facility, sex, age category, educational status, occupation, disclosure status, functional status, WHO clinical stage at ART initiation, BMI at ART initiation, opportunistic infections, CD4 count at initiation of ART, types of regimens, experience of anti-tuberculosis treatment, cotrimoxazole preventive therapy, and isoniazid preventive therapy were found significant predictors for the occurrence of ADRs at p-value <0.2 and they were candidates for multivariable regression (Table 7). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is Opportunistic infection.
