To confirm the relationship between cellular signaling, functional adaptation, and patients’ cardiovascular risk factors, we analyzed the associations between changes in muscle function; changes in the expression of miR‐206, miR‐23a, IGF‐1, IGFBP3, and TRIM63; and the presence of calcifications and the severity of CVDs in CKD‐5D patients after the period of physical inactivity and exercise intervention. This evidence concerns the gene IGFBP3 and chronic kidney disease.
