To confirm the relationship between cellular signaling, functional adaptation, and patients’ cardiovascular risk factors, we analyzed the associations between changes in muscle function; changes in the expression of miR‐206, miR‐23a, IGF‐1, IGFBP3, and TRIM63; and the presence of calcifications and the severity of CVDs in CKD‐5D patients after the period of physical inactivity and exercise intervention. Here, IGF1 is linked to chronic kidney disease.
