Since inhibition of the activity of soluble EPHX2 has been reported to improve several aspects of CV disease, including OS, hypercholesterolemia, inflammation, hypertension, endothelial dysfunction, and atherosclerosis, EPHX2 is now regarded as an emerging therapeutic target in the treatment of atherosclerosis and CV disease [12, 13]. Here, EPHX2 is linked to endothelial dysfunction.
