MAPT and Alzheimer disease: A recent systematic review by Fink et al. found that individual CSF biomarkers and biomarker ratios had moderate sensitivity (62–83%) and specificity (53–69%) for distinguishing neuropathologically defined AD from non-AD pathology, while β-amyloid 42 (Aβ42)/p-tau ratio, total tau (t-tau)/Aβ42 ratio, and p-tau appeared more accurate than Ab42 and t-tau alone.
