Compared with participants in the Q1 group, participants in the other groups were more likely to be older, men, less well educated, to have a lower income, more current smokers and drinkers, a higher prevalence of hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia, more likely to table antihypertensive agents and antidiabetic agents, had a high BMI, SBP, DBP, TC, LDL-C, and hs-CRP level, and a lower HDL-C level.
