After adjustment for all covariates in the multilevel mixed model, factors associated with greater weight gain during follow‐up were as follows: lower weight (p < 0.001) and higher height (p = 0.005) at baseline, previous AIDS diagnosis (p < 0.001), lower CD4 nadir (p < 0.001), higher maximum HIV RNA (p = 0.001), and treatment with PI (p < 0.001) or INSTI (p < 0.001), compared to NNRTI. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and AIDS.
