The results of the tests performed on the day of admission showed that 13 patients (65%) had leukopenia and 18 patients (90.0%) thrombocytopenia, and high levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and C-reactive protein (CRP) were detected in 18 (90.0%), 17 (81.0%), and 18 (90.0%) patients, respectively (Supplementary Fig. 1a–d).
