To further investigate the downstream signaling pathways of CBX7–AKR1B10 axis, western blotting was used to detect the protein levels of active β-catenin, p-AKT, p-STAT3, and p-ERK, the key molecules in the classic signaling pathways, which have been reported to participate in diverse cellular processes such as proliferation, survival, and differentiation in cancer cells. The gene discussed is STAT3; the disease is cancer.
