NRXN3 and central nervous system cancer: LN229 cells transfected with sh-NRXN3 or the corresponding negative control were applied to establish the orthotopic tumour model with stereotaxic intracerebral inoculation, which showed that silencing NRXN3 led to promotion of glioma growth in vivo and resulted in shorter survival of tumour-bearing mice (Fig. 7A–C).
