Immunotherapeutics, including high dose interleukin-2 and antibodies that block programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1)/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte associated protein-4 (CTLA-4) can induce durable responses across numerous types of solid tumors[4–10] and hematologic malignancies.[11,12] Immunotherapy has been shown to be highly effective in cancer.
