In both the pan-cancer cohort and a subset of CRC patients, those harboring the PTCH1 mutation also had better survival outcomes (P = 0.004, HR, 0.485, 95% CI, 0.337–0.697; P = 0.022, HR, 0.29, 95% CI, 0.139–0.607; Fig. 2a, b). The gene discussed is PTCH1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
