The Oncomine database showed that YTHDF1 mRNA levels were significantly higher in most human cancers, such as bladder, brain and CNS, breast, cervical, colorectal, esophageal, head and neck, kidney, liver, lung, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate cancer, leukemia, melanoma, sarcoma, and other cancer types compared to the corresponding normal tissues. This evidence concerns the gene YTHDF1 and prostate carcinoma.
