The IL‐6/JAK/STAT3 pathway has a key role in the growth and development of many human cancers.[23, 24] Elevated levels of IL‐6 are observed in a large number of patients with hematopoietic malignancies or solid tumors.[23, 25] Aberrantly increased IL‐6 stimulates hyperactivation of JAK/STAT3 signaling, which is often associated with poor patient outcomes. Here, STAT3 is linked to cancer.
