Although it has been shown that PKM2 can regulate the activation of the TLR4 signaling pathway (21), there is no clarity regarding the role and mechanism of PKM2 in regulating the activation of TLR4, TLR7 and TLR9 signaling pathways in different immune cells and its involvement in the pathogenesis of inflammation and autoimmune diseases. This evidence concerns the gene TLR4 and autoimmune disease.
