H&E-staining results showed the nuclei in both groups were large and deeply stained, whereas Ki67-staining results in tumor xenografts indicated that the Ki67-positive rate was decreased markedly in the PPARG2 group, suggesting that PPARG2 can inhibit tumorigenicity of PCA cells in vivo (Fig. 4D, E).
