The novel second-generation tau-PET tracer [18F]PI-2620 demonstrated high-affinity binding to isolated 4R tau fibrils and to PSP brain homogenates [4] which highlights its potential for imaging of 4R-tauopathies when compared to most other next-generation tau-PET tracers that are mainly specific for AD-tau [5].
