In the Breast Invasive Carcinoma (BRCA) and Lung Adenocarcinoma (LUAD) datasets, selecting multiple percentile cutoffs (Supplementary Table 4) demonstrated the connection between the magnitude of the difference in NFATc2 expression between NFATc2-High and NFATc2-Low samples, and the estimated activation of RICTOR (BRCA: Pearson coefficient = 0.91, p = 0.01; LUAD: Pearson coefficient = 0.91, p = 0.01; Fig. 4c).
