RMI2 and Fanconi anemia: It was found that ten of these genes (ERCC4, RMI1, FANCM, FANCL, RAD52, XAB2, MUS81, TIPIN, RMI2, and MLH1) are involved in DNA repair of which four of them i.e., ERCC4, FANCM, FANCL, and MUS81 are specifically involved in Fanconi anemia pathway which is also a type of DNA repair pathway.
