Furthermore, Kanaguchi et al. evaluated the expression of tubulointerstitial markers under oxidative stress and proximal tubular damage in human L-FABP chromosomal gene-transgenic mice and suggested that tubular enhancement of L-FABP may protect mice with antibody-induced glomerulonephritis during the progression of both tubulointerstitial and glomerular injury [27].
