Recently, Bayo et al. indicated that autocrine motility factor (AMF) produced by hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) was found to induce migration of different sources of MSCs in vitro and that exogenous stimulation of MSCs with recombinant AMF (rAMF) also promote the MSCs adhesion ability to endothelial cells due to the changes in the expression levels of MMP-3 [23]. This evidence concerns the gene GPI and hepatocellular carcinoma.
