In the physiological state, TSP50 is specifically expressed in spermatocytes of testis, while high expression of TSP50 can be detected in more than 90% of breast cancer, laryngeal cancer, colorectal cancer, cervical cancer and gastric cancer tissue samples16–20, suggesting that TSP50 is of great significance in the diagnosis of tumors.
