To determine the physiological role of PDCD5 in the development of lung fibrosis, we generated a genetically engineered mouse model with tamoxifen-inducible Pdcd5 ablation in lung epithelial club cells14–16 (Ccsp-Pdcd5d/d) or AT2 cells17 (Spc-Pdcd5d/d). This evidence concerns the gene PDCD5 and pulmonary fibrosis.
