In line with ZRSR2's mitotic phenotype, various stable aneuploidies were observed in MDS and CCUS patients with ZRSR2 mutations (Madan et␣al,2015; Fleischman et␣al,2017; Hosono, 2019), though it is unclear whether mitotic defects contribute to these disease phenotypes. This evidence concerns the gene ZRSR2 and myelodysplastic syndrome.
