Of note, we found high serum levels of ULBP-1 only among PTB patients (4380 pg/mL, 3015 pg/mL–5538 pg/mL, IQR), but not in HC (2715 pg/mL, 2182 pg/mL–3640 pg/mL, IQR, p = 0.0178), LTBI (2729 pg/mL, 1929 pg/mL–3666 pg/mL, IQR, p = 0.0055), and TBM individuals (2847 pg/mL, 2198 pg/mL–4120 pg/mL, IQR, p = 0.0364; Figure 4(a)). This evidence concerns the gene ULBP1 and meningeal tuberculosis.
