As shown in Table 2, the activities of SOD (P < 0.01), GSH (P < 0.01), and CAT (P < 0.05) in the liver of NAFLD rats were significantly decreased, whereas MDA and OH-1 levels were markedly increased compared with those of the normal control group (P < 0.01). Here, SOD1 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
