Compared with the HFD-fed group, oral administration of HXQYF (22.5, 45, 90 mg/kg) significantly raised the activities of SOD, GSH, and CAT but inhibited MDA and OH-1 formation in the liver of NAFLD rats (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05). The gene discussed is SOD1; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
