The BPH rats had a nearly 2.5-fold increase in Ki-67-positive rate (Fig. 7A, E) and a 50% decrease in apoptosis rate detected via the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick-end labeling (TUNEL) assay (Fig. 7B, E) in rat prostate.
